With beauty, you can get people's attention. With intelligence, you can solve complex problems. Both things are useful in life, but these things aren't everything.
Someone's kindness can capture the hearts of everyone around them. It shows real character. Kindness is not something that you happened to be born with unlike beauty or intelligence. Kindness and goodness are things that you cultivate yourself. It's an attitude that polishes your personality.
Beauty and intelligence don't make you happy always, so you don’t necessarily need these things to have a happy life. What makes people happy is sharing their life with others. Nobody likes to be alone.
You don't have to be beautiful or intelligent to be kind. Go out volunteering. Talk to people from all walks of life. Tell your friends and family that everyone deserves kindness and recognition, regardless of how pretty or smart they are (or aren't). Show kindness to people less fortunate than you are. A little act of kindness goes a long way and motivates more people to follow your model. When you see someone being mean and spiteful toward others, show them the right path.
Once in a while, try stopping by snack stands, flower sellers, anyone who sells stuff on the street, and buy something even if you don't need it. It's important to support people's dreams. In addition to showing kindness through financial support you can donate your "time" to make someone’s life better. Educate less fortunate children in your free time. Instead of throwing coins at beggars on the street, buy them a coffee. It's more fulfilling than donating money.
Organizing activities to create awareness can bring help from places you would never expect. With these little acts, you’ll learn how to be kind and persistently support your fellow beings.
Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
-Mark Twain
