Yes, he is back to change infosys's fortune once again. After serving as a CEO at Infosys Narayan murthy after 7 years from stepping down of this position. He has been described as the Father of Indian IT sector just because of his measureless contribution for his company, Infosys. Mr. Murthy described the move as “sudden and unusual.” “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be back here in an executive capacity. Murthy has also been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan and Padma Shri awards. There are very few people who are selfless and focussed and Mr. Murthy is one of them.  He says "Leadership is all about courage to dream big".

After completing his Electrical engineering at NIT, Mysore, He did his M.Tech at IIT, Kanpur. Murthy started his career at IIM Ahmedabad as chief systems programmer and after that he started a company named Softronics and when that company failed after about an year, he joined PATNI computer systems in Pune. Murthy and six software professionals founded Infosys in 1981 with an initial capital of Rs. 10,000, which was provided by his wife Sudha Murthy.


In a difficult environment, Infosys's rivals proved to be more effective and adaptive, forcing the company to lose its reach in the international market. The decision of coming back to Infosys was mainly due to the consequent fall in the overall revenue growth of the company. Worried over falling profits, the shareholders raised concerns over rising attrition rate and the company losing focus to make profit as some of the other IT companies were doing.Now there is a feeling of joy and togetherness amongst the board members soon after his comeback.  Infosys came down to number 3 from number 1 over these years so we will get to see some action from Narayana Murthy in upcoming future.
